One of my very last pieces for blog TORONTO BEAUTY REVIEWS was a piece on Sarah Jessica Parker’s new shoe collection.
Less than a 6 months later, SJP partners again with NORDSTROM to release her second shoe collection exclusively for Fall 2014.
My favourite thing about SJP’s shoe collection is that it’s so very feminine. Ladylike heels that are perfect for office to night Fall transitions, expect heels in autumn colours like navy, olive, brown, and wine. Furthermore, there are now boots added to the collection! There seem to be three to choose from: a conservative suede boot, a knee high cut out boot, and a killer knee high black leather boot.
What I admire about the SJP 2014 collection is that, again, she names all the shoes after inspiring women. There’s a Blythe, named after Blythe Danner, and a Rachel, named after SJP’s beloved sister.
“Named for the great Blythe Danner, this beautiful shoe exudes a sort of sophistication. A metropolitan personality,” Parker says. “I’m thrilled with the inky blue and the shoe’s proud silhouette.”
In addition to the shoes, SJP has also released a line of handbags! While so much focus has been on the shoes (since they are from the notorious Carrie Bradshaw), it should be noted that the handbags shouldn’t be overlooked.
Take a look at the full collection below:
Prices range from $220 US to $495 US for handbags, while shoes will cost you $285 US to $695 US. The collection will be available on Nordstrom this month, and look for a few new colour schemes to be released come early Fall.

Oh, how I absolutely adore quirky, colourful, and unique companies!
When I was contacted by MUFFYMADE, I knew we were a match made in heaven. With their tagline being “pop your colour”, MUFFYMADE reminds us to be creative, be bright, and be yourself.
Come read about Canadian brand MUFFYMADE …. and enter to win a little something for yourself!
First and foremost, it must be stated that the MUFFYMADE temporary website is a WORLD of fun. While it’s current main page is down for construction, we are left with a colouring book. A legit colouring book. Let it spark your creative side and spend a little time colouring in the photographs that pop up on their main page.
MUFFYMADE comes from Nicole Clark and Canadian personality Meredith Shaw. The name sound familiar? It should – radio listeners within Toronto should recognize her name as a radio personality from popular station boom 97.3. Furthermore, the multitalented Shaw is also an accomplished singer / songwriter, and heads a fantastic foundation entitled “GIRLS WHO BELIEVE“, which aims to teach girls to follow their dreams. How on Earth can one woman do so much! The true definition of a power role model for girls.
Clark is a highly successful retail and online marketing guru who truly understands the business. Her work within the industry has put her front and centre in terms of experience, and therefore, a perfect addition to the MUFFYMADE team. Even more perfect? Shaw and Clark have been friends since University.
“MUFFYMADE allows you to stand out from the crowd, be memorable and shower the people you love in your life with the attention, affection and humour they so very much deserve,” states Clark.
Now, Shaw’s MUFFYMADE adventure is a thrill for those of us who are obsessed with all things gifts: wrapping, cards, custom presents, and more. MUFFYMADE is your one-stop-shop for all your giftware needs – think personalized mugs, quirky greeting cards, customizable chocolates, party favours, and more.
